JT .... YOU REALLY NEED TO PUT A SPOILER ALERT. It's common practise.

Thanks for the spoiled JT. Some of us don't rent these and use Japanese cable do I'm in season two, not three. I thought this was you g to be about season three being shown on cable here. So Brody is dead?! Great. No point in season three now it seems...

Funny with a headline like this "Homeland' set to return, with even more adrenalin" one would think that it's obvious that there is going to be information about the upcoming program and a review.

No need to read it if you are following it.

How remiss of me! You're right, I should spend my life blindfolded and with earplugs stuffed into my shell-likes, just in case I happen across some fool blurting out something on a website about Japan they shouldn't/needn't about an American TV series. And I suppose I'd best stop reading the BBC website in case they write something about a Japanese drama I'd rather not know.

Nope. Reading the comments alone will give details to the article. Your bad for clicking Recent Comments!

if some of you didn't want the spoiler, you shouldn't have clicked on this article and read it! That's your bad, not JT's!

I didn't want the spoiler and I didn't read the article, but now I know thanks to your post in the Recent Comments. Your bad, Ms Alexander.

If you're a Homeland fan and didn't know that Brody was dead, then you're not a real Homeland fan! Him being dead is old news. AND...if some of you didn't want the spoiler, you shouldn't have clicked on this article and read it! That's your bad, not JT's!

For the record, Season 3 was the bomb! I totally recommend watching it - even if you already know Brody dies.

It's a reprint of a story by a news outlet in USA where last season is old news.

@JT that was rude and inconsiderate of the readers here.

Most entertainment news sites and the common decency to alert readers if there are spoilers in the article. Some of us really enjoy the show and now you've ruined it for most.

I wonder how the people at ShowTime will feel about this.

@Amid: It's written in the first line of the link from the front page. Any more 'advice'?

While it is common courtesy to put up a spoiler warning, to be fair the entertainment section on this website is not 100% about Japanese entertainment. Would be a bit silly to write an article about the 3rd season airing in Japan when it has already aired overseas months ago. On the internet if you haven't seen up to the latest episode of a TV show you are normally better off staying away from all articles about it.

From a social perspective (not a quality perspective) it is not unlike the fictional television shows run in China about Japan - sure it's just fiction - but it serves as propaganda too. The willingness of a population to self-propagandize "war on X" does not depend on whether democracy exists in that country or not.

JT for christs's sake. SPOILER ALERTS??? It's basic stuff! Now no point in watching on from the point I am at!! MASSIVE plot give away in the blurb on the front page!! Duh!

tmarie - Don't worry. These TV series always make you think the hero has bought it and then 'cleverly' (usually with a bit of a cringe/cliche) let them escape death so they can continue for the next series.

24 did it, Burn notice, and many others.

Keep watching.

Season 3's been on cable a while. There have been several weekend marathons running the whole of Season 3, perhaps that's why they thought it's been seen by most...does it depend on your cable company?

The problem with these shows is that huge swaths of the Americans think the stories are real. It's propatainment - propaganda masquerading as entertainment to spin up the emotions and create enemies in the minds of the public.

Actually, we don't, that's why it's called entertainment television, but the same can be said at the programs people watch about Americans thinking it's all true.

Hahaha, but it's ok when it's Stephen Colbert, some people even think he's funny!
