"The LGBT debate was fairly neat. Either you're tolerant or not," she said. "But nobody is perfect when it comes to climate."

How about addressing plutocratic late stage capitalism?

It seems South Korean cinema is doing a better job of that than Hollywood.

To great success with "Parasite" and "Squid Game".

Will we be able to deal with what is happening, when we insist on calling it "climate change," instead of what it truly is, Global Warming?

The air, the ocean, and the land are all getting hotter. Are they changing? Yes, but that change is all in one direction, and that point should not be ignored or sugar-coated. Like the lobster in the proverbial pot of slowly heating water, things are getting hotter, not just changing.

So basically the billionaires and their corporations who control the media can use that media to indoctrinate people to accept the idea that they need to pay more taxes to make the billionaires and corporations even richer.

They're already doing that!

There was nothing at all or implied in this article about paying taxes.

There were however plenty of examples of how TV and film have influenced and changed public opinion on a wide range of important issues.
