No. They just need to sit down and enjoy the original again. Don't do this, Hollywood.

Remake? You keep using that word, Hollywood. I do not think it means what you think it means....

Just re-release the original in theaters!

Also, RIP to Andre the Giant.

So it's ok to butcher all other classics with garbage remakes, but on no, hands off the precious "Princess Bride."

ENOUGH! Quit remaking films. Next these cretins will want to remake 'Gone With the Wind'.

Princess Bride? I've already seen it.
Anybody want a peanut?

I just watched this movie with my kids last week. I still love it - it's a classic.
Doesn't need to be remade. Sure there were some cheesy effects, like when Andre is pulling them all up the wall, but it's still fine. Great movie.

I would rather they attempt a sequel.
Anyway, if I were making a movie about Werner Von Braun, I would cast Cary Elwes for the lead. Striking resemblance really. Also, I regret not seeing more of him after Princess Bride.
As is that Chris Sarandon in the back? Can't recognize him but who else could it be?

Oh, YOU! That one took me a minute.

Seth who?
This guy doesn’t deserve the fawning Hollywood gives him.

Not a cult member but the film is better than many. I suppose I’d react similarly if they the copy cult in Hollywood decided to remake Ice Pirates.

It's aged a bit, so why not? After all, the spoof fairy tale has been done so many times, one more won't hurt. Shrek, Disenchantment, most Tim Burton films etc.
And of course, the original book is supposed to be better. I do love Carol Kane, mind.
