There are some people on this site who just love to be negative. Probably the only power they have in their lives. Happens to everyone, seriously.

In computer science terminology, it's called 'flaming' because these 'flamers' love to post inflammatory remarks to inflame you. Another word for those people are 'trolls'. And yes, they just have nothing better to do than to sass off to others online. Need I mention who comes to mind in America?

Bruce Springsteen used to say at his shows, 'Do I have to say his NAME???' Well I ain't referring to the Big Man Clarence Clemens here, but a very immature little boy who turned 75 (physically, not mentally) this year.

Thanks. Yes, you're right. I'll ignore it. Love the Everly Brothers and have been listening since yesterday!

My mom told me that when she was carrying me in her womb she was listening to the Everly Brothers. It may have 'influenced' me into what I am today or maybe not.

The 45s of the Everlys were a major, inestimable influence on popular music and on a generation of fans and rock stars. The great Don is gone, but he left his voice and musicianship with us forever.

All the succeeding rock'n'rollers up to today have roots to this duo, Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Elvis. They and a few others laid the foundation for rock'n'roll. They are essential, everything starts somewhere and here's a cornerstone.

The Everly Brothers are legends. As Snowy says, immeasurably influential, even if not mentioned these days in the same breath as Chuck Berry or Jerry Lee or Little Richard. But the beat goes on...

Nick Lowe, Dave Edmunds, Graham Parker and other 'pub rockers' are influenced bigtime by the Everly Brothers. They even covered them. The harmony aspect is an influence as well. Paul McCartney is a major fan. The legacy goes on, it's everywhere now.

Each time we meet, love

I find complete love

Without your sweet love

What would life be?

RIP.

Don Everly's daughter Erin is for whom the GnR song "Sweet Child O Mine" is about.

Many owe their followup successes to legacies of Don & Phil Everly.

RIP Don Everly. RIP Phil Everly.
