I'm not gay andI don't believe there's a huge hunger for GLBT themed movies. Nonetheless, here'e entertainment for them so let have it and enjoy it. It's not for me, but it's good for them.

There's too many problems and issues today to be worrying so much about stuff like this. If it don't appeal to you, nobody says you gotta watch it. This is for the gay community and their families and such. There's plenty geared for us heterosexuals.

What we need is movies with original plots and stories and interesting characters. Hollywood today is a wasteland.

This is a film for everybody, the trailer looks amusing and it's really no big deal. Watching it won't make you LGBT, so don't panic.

The film's cast also includes Daniel Levy, co-creator and actor from the Emmy award-winning sitcom "Schitt's Creek"

And what a great heartwarming series it was. Takes a few eps to get into, initially I was wondering why the plight of obscenely rich types would be of interest to me. But, of course, it's much more than that as the characters and stories develop. Another universal comedy for enjoyment and ended just when it should have.

Depends on whether you mean the big studios or overall output. Recently watched American Animals (based on a true story) and was engrossed by it. Heist movie, of sorts but not your typical one.

Nonetheless, here'e entertainment for them so let have it and enjoy it. It's not for me, but it's good for them.

Lol. How do you work out that it's not for you? It's not segregated as far as I know... unless you mean romcoms in general. I can take them or leave them. The Richard Curtis ones I'll watch but they're often very niche and exclusive portrayal of a certain section of society (usually privileged posh caucasians in the UK) but they do manage to keep me amused.

I'd recommend his latest which is a wee bit more diverse (directed by Danny Boyle) Yesterday. You're a Beatles fan like myself and this one has an interesting premise. Don't watch the trailer, though. Massive spoilers.

I watch movies for plots that interest me. I don't care whether the lovers in the film are gay or straight. I wish they'd stop highlighting what gender, sexual orientation or race in the movie on a pedestal. People are people and a good movie is a good movie.

It doesn't make any difference whether the characters are old, young, male, female or people who identify as duck ponds. We just don't want the same old crap rehashed, Alien XXV, Avatar XIV, yet ANOTHER Star Wars movie or another movie with a different name, but with the same tired old plot.

Just saying it's a 'LGBT' movie is an automatic turnoff for a lot of people. I like surprizes. If it turns out that a certain character is gay then so be it. I don't like this highlighting either, gay is not a 'fashion statement' and I wish the commercial world would quit making it one. They do that to everything, it's stupid.

Yes. I can't believe there's going to be a 'Top Gun' sequel next year. 35 years after the first one? Really? In real life nobody's military career lasts 35 years and they certainly don't fly as pilots that long. And a few years ago there was a 'Ghostbusters' in name only that nobody liked, and last year yet another forgettable 'Charlie's Angels' throw up. with this pandemic this would be an excellent time for Hollyweirders to get their minds in motion and start thinking instead of pushing all this bland recycled trash on us. And those current Marvel films are so awful. Recently 'Spiderman' was a teenager and he was a whimpy, whiney, wussy sissy boy. Stan Lee spins in his grave. Disgusting, man.

So any new film will be a winner, especially one that shows people living a cohabitating or adulterous or gender confused or sexually depraved lifestyle, like the film Fifty Shades of Grey.

Being LGBT is not confusing or sexually depraved. Not sure why you equate it with a soft porn effort about sadomasochism?

However, genuine love is not giving your approval or facilitating behavior that will damage another person in body, soul and spirit...nor by funding productions that affirm such behavior.

If you don't like it, nobody's forcing you to watch.

Hollywood has always recycled, as does literature, music, comic books etc. Am still suprised that people are surprised about this.

Also, Stan Lee and Steve Ditko's original Spiderman is not a million miles from Tom Holland's portrayal. Peter Parker, in the comics, was a teenager, often seen as cocky and he displayed doubt and vulnerability.

As for sissy boy - this is a homophobic slur. Sorry to see this coming from a poster I normally respect.

Gay is not sexually depraved. Many of the disgusting acts that these self-righteous homophobes slam gay people for (like BDSM) straight people do too. And I know many gay people don't get into that sick porno crap. And gay romantic flicks don't 'make someone gay' either. I remember when Ellen Degeneres 'came out' on TV and I was in college. Yes, many gay students had a 'viewing party' for this historic moment on American TV. And nobody made non-gay people see it. It's the same thing for movies like this one. It's made for the GLBT so let them enjoy it, they can relate with it and it's hurting anyone.

'Sissy boy' is an American slam for 'unmacho', ''unassertive', 'weakling', 'childish', 'milksop', 'milquetoast' and such, not always but sometimes a homophobic slur. If I offended you or anybody else here by that term I'm sorry. Using it as a gay-bashing word was not my intention whatsoever. And there are many gay men who are very macho, 'manly' and tough as any heterosexual man.

And in that recent 'Spiderman' movie from 2 or 3 years ago the teenage 'hero' (I use the term lightly here) was a totally pathetic milquetoast candy-ass to the max. Not a hero by any definition. That movie was so rotten not even the Ramones' version of the theme song at the closing credits could salvage that film from the trash heap. I mean it was that awful.

I thought it was excellent, funny and exciting. Michael Keaton stole the show, mind. The follow up was average in comparison. I still reckon that the Spiderverse movie was the best. That really captured the craziness and wonder of the comics and the animation was next level stuff.
