Mental health really is a challenge and often a genetic issue.

RIP Shane, hope you’ve found peace mate!

Rest In Peace” poor, struggling soul. “Condolences” offered to mum, dad, siblings and friends.

I had thought she had mental problems and died a few years ago but I guess I was thinking of the Irish singer from the Cranberries.

This woman just cannot shake her woes. Ever since she ripped up a pic of the Pope...it's been one tragedy after another. Not superstitious or anything, just saying...that was the top of a long slide for Begum Sinead...

Perhaps the Immortal Prince Rogers Nelson should have refused to let this unstable woman sing one of his immortal songs into the top of the charts, thereby sparing her the fame neither she nor her close ones could handle?

Sad, very sad, the woman has just had one bad luck to another. Used to love her back in the 80's.

So you want to tell me that has nothing to do with her converting to Islam and that someone is haunting her because of that?

Yeah right...

Poor lady has had a tragic life, from her childhood on.

I really doubt her choice of religion has anything to do with this.

Some times a tradedy is just that, a tragedy.

RIP young man

A troubled upbringing and the baggage that comes with it can easily become cultural and passed on to the next generation. His mom has had problems, and it is no telling what she passed on to him. Alternatively, her son could of had his own demons unrelated. Who really knows?

Parents should not have to bury their children!

Very sad and really hard to understand unless you been there, may he rest in peace.

remote observer, really, that was so nasty. I am not a Muslim, however, I have friends who are and work with many and feel bless to know them all. There is no bad or evil religion, just people who are ignorant and twist religion to do their bidding.

Every religion has their true practitioners and their fanatical zealots. Even Buddhism. Look at the Myanmar genocide against the mostly Muslim Rohignya and the excuses used to 'justify' it. There's no 'Buddhism' in that. Even the 'Church of Satan' has its moral standards.

Sinead has problems thruout her life. She's tried everything from 'Old Catholic' (?) (she was ordained a priestess in it), made a CD based on Rastafarianism, took a New Age name,, and now supposedly it's Islam. In any case, mental illness is a disease and it's nothing to just shrug off. It can DESTROY. Shane has been battling his demons himself and I pray that God forgives him for taking his life. I don't think he really knew what he was doing. Suicide is not an answer to anything. A tragedy is a tragedy. May he RIP, hopefully he ain't suffering now.
