OMG, it’s like she thinks she is paralyzed and has a life threatening disease. What a narcissistic drama queen. Please don’t buy her book, and support alopecia cure development instead.

Hmmmm, this book won’t be one long bitter rant at all……

My wife is undergoing chemotherapy and has lost all of her hair, which used to fall down past her shoulders in thick, luxurious waves and was a source of pride. Friends rallied and have supplied her with a collection of scarves, caps, and hats, yet it was (and remains) devastating to her: a constant reminder of her battle and what she has lost.

Her condition is in no way life threatening nor is there any pain but she acts as if she has cancer. She's a truly mediocre actor and brings nothing special to the screen. Yet she thinks she's popular enough to warrant a 'my memoirs' style book. LOL! I'm sure she'll tell us why she has sex with her son's friend. These Hollywood-types are the true definition of narcissistic.

“Jada Pinkett Smith chronicles lessons learned in the course of a difficult but riveting journey — a rollercoaster ride from the depths of suicidal depression to the heights of personal rediscovery and the celebration of authentic feminine power,” read an announcement by Dey Street, an imprint of HarperCollins Publishers.

I think I’m going to be sick.

Pinkett Smith addressed the slap two months later, saying the incident had prompted thousands to reach out to her with their own experiences with alopecia areata. She also said she hoped “these two intelligent, capable men have an opportunity to heal, talk this out, and reconcile.”

I’ve just been sick.

What a preposterous person. What a preposterous community of self-centred narcissists.

…her “complicated marriage to Will Smith”

It’s not complicated. They have an “open marriage,” which means they are not really married.

I'm sorry but this woman from the height of success, which I don't begrudge her, talking about how hard life has been makes me want to do or say something impolite.

And I don't care that she and will had an "open marriage" although it sounds as if it went about as well as one would expect.

I would be interested in hearing HIS take about how she rubbed it in his face publicly then essentially shamed him into the slap because she didn't like a joke about non-chemo hair loss. As if that were a big deal.

And @Laguna, my sympathies for your wife. I hope she recovers and can get her hair back. Cancer and chemo - That IS a big deal.

I think she’s ghastly, selfish and a bully

Another New Age 'looka-me' book about 'challenges, life journey and LBNL empowerment!' Hee-hee. LOL. Another cash-grabbing exercise to put herself in the limelight. And it's probably ghost-written too. Just in time after the 'slap' incident and it'll be a stocking-stuffer for all those who give a damn.

Remember Sarah Palin's 2009 book, or even want to? I saw it at a Kroger grocery store a few years ago marked down to a dollar. I figure Jada's book will see the same fate by the end of this decade if not by 2025.

Andy Warhol was right after all.

Does she really? Gads, she's morally repugnant. She can wave the banner of 'open marriage' all she (and Will) want to but having such a relationship with your son's friend is just repulsive, disgusting and WRONG.

Now I'M going to get sick.

It should be an interesting book.
