I know nothing about music, but reading this article brings something up inside me. Wonderful!

Whether you like his music or not, James Taylor is a class act.

Monotone. 'Adult contemporary', yuppie and milquetoast. I'll take a Marvin Gaye song done by the original thank you very much.

Taylor was in the right place at the right time, just like Dylan.

I don't think so. Dylan's songs are timeless. When I was in college the student Hillel group invited me to a Krystalnacht memorial service and we sang, 'Blowing In the Wind'.

When I was a kid JT and Carly Simon covered 'Mockingbird', a song we did in elementary school music class. But JT and Carly's 'cover' made me sick even back then when it was on the radio in my mom's car. It made me feel like I was in diapers and everyone was pointing at me. I still hate it soooo bad. I can't believe such a piece of garbage was actually a hit. Absolute rubbish!
