Yakusho and Nakadai both are Great Japanese Actors, probably comes in Top 10 best Japanese Actors of all time. However, most Japanese people don't even know about them.

For last 25 years, Yakusho is no.1 in Japan whereas Choi Min Sik is no.1 in South Korea but he is falling...so now is Song Kang Ho.
