Julie Keiko Fujishima, his niece, stepped down as chief executive of Johnny's last week and was replaced by Noriyuki Higashiyama, a Johnny’s star. Fujishima remains on the board and owns 100% of the unlisted company.

So the resignation was purely for show.

Why hasn't legal action been taken? The police need to be involved and people need to be serving actual jail time for allowing these horrendous crimes.

I don't understand why the sponsors are stepping out at Jonny's talents. Sponsors have to support these boys so they can gain more confidence in public. One of the most incredible points to this and similar stories is how people so desperately want to believe the worst possible thing that could come up. And I can't even bring up the things they will refuse to believe or else I will get in trouble....but just think on the number 200. Seems a bit sus.

But all this brings me another important point.....how to even prove anyone was a victim to as to compensate them? Some cases do have witnesses, but I am sure some don't. Also, some witnesses also claim to be victims themselves.

Thankfully the BBC did it’s documentary and gave international exposure to these horrific crimes. Without that Johnny’s would’ve continued to ignore the exploitation and sexual abuse that the business is built upon.

Japanese media, corporations, politicians and police are also guilty of covering up these crimes and allowing them to continue.

As others have said, the entire company should be liquidated and all proceeds given to the victims. Otherwise, Johnny’s will attempt to pay each victim a pittance and continue on as usual. Sexual abuse trauma lasts a lifetime and the victims should be paid large sums that show the severity and seriousness of the crimes.
