Another meaningless award for people who are already rich and famous. Waste of time and money.

Must be part of their "Jerry Lewis is a genius" mentality!

****Don't forget he was once arrested for drunk driving. The only victim of the accident he caused was himself.

La Legion d'honneur just dropped a notch in my estimate.

This is just ridiculous. He's a terrible film maker, and smells of yak type under the table cash for recognition. No way Kitano gets this type of false recognition unless IOC type payoff.

If they're passing out awards, how about Godard, for just still making films, without any money?
