Japanese pop idol duo Tackey & Tsubasa disband after 16 years

My heart aches now that I can't see Takki anymore. Too early and too handsome to retire.

Most fans will be heartbroken upon reading these news. I am already heartbroken many times over still absorbing the reality written here. I love both of them and I am going to miss them terribly. I wish Tackey whose irresistible charms drew me to him like a magnet the very best and to Tsubasa I pray that God will speed his recovery.

Sounds like Tackey & Tsubasa were more of a male musician duo rather than an 'idol' band. More like say, Daryl Hall and John Oates. And if I stand correctly, Huey Lewis of Huey Lewis and the News now has Meniere's disease which results in hearing loss for him.
