Nah, Xmas is a blend of secular and non-secular traditions, as most countries with a winter have celebrated the winter solstice in some manner, and Xmas is blend of these traditions along with some Christian ones. Nowadays most of the people who celebrate xmas around the world are not even christian, so it can't be said the real meaning of xmas is the birth of Jesus Christ. It's just one of the myths that was added to the celebration of the winter solstice.

Wrong the true meaning is the birth of Jesus Christ. It was invented by the Catholic church. Later people added things for non-believers like goodwill to give it meaning. You're right though a lot don't celebrate the true meaning of Christmas any more.
Strangerland
It's also a holiday celebrated in many non-Christian countries (like Japan).
The true meaning is supposed to be compassion, and goodwill towards men. Let's be real - almost no one is celebrating the 'true meaning' of christmas any more. It's become a non-secular holiday for people to enjoy the end of the year.
Three goals
Christmas is a holiday celebrated by Christian countries. However a lot of the citizens of those countries are non-practicing. It's become and end of year party for many who don't really care about it's true meaning.
Strangerland
Most of the Xmas celebrating world doesn't believe in Christ.
Jeremiah
Sad that this cartoon would not be made today due to having too much Christ in Christmas.

Charlie Brown needs updating to better reflect America's demographics in 2022
all we need to ruin Charlie Brown, what are gonna do add a trans-kid, a couple of gay kids and a other-than gender. No we need to stop that kind of thinking and enjoy what we do have.

Adore this - bought the CD years ago, and it's probably the only CD I still play. The full album is available on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gq4yRZggY58&list=OLAK5uy_kc6METZLT3zg6oWUGGF5COt3lnq0rt50w

What a ridiculous idea. Tell you what, get all the geniuses from 2022 together, and try to make an alternative that can even approach the original in creativity or impact. You'll end up with rubbish that no one will watch, guaranteed.
But no, you have to erase the past to feel good about this dystopian present you're imposing on everyone!

You have, indeed.

A classic. For adults and for children. They can't, or won't, make stuff like this anymore.
Charlie: "Isn't there ANYONE who knows what Christmas is all about about?!"
Like where Linus quotes, from memory, from Luke in the Bible about the birth of Jesus as an answer to Charlie's frustration at all the commercialism he sees surrounding the holiday? lol. That scene just wouldn't happen in 2022 without severe criticism from Wokists...
"That's what Christmas is all about, Charlie Brown!"

When I saw the CD issue released, I bought a copy at a Target store, $7. It's very short, only about 20-30 minutes max buy I don't care. I play it in my car every Christmas season, it's essential. It's a tradition, it's a classic. Everyone knows it.
I miss seeing it on network TV, that medium is just full of trash now. Yet we know the story and the songs. When I was in college, at the on-campus Cafe Arabica there sometimes was a busker playing an acoustic guitar and 'Linus and Lucy' amongst other well-known songs ('Yesterday', etc.) was always on the agenda. It's CULTURE.

We watch this every Christmas Day, has been a family tradition for many years.
