The original song won an Academy Award in 1949 after Esther Williams and Ricardo Montalban performed it in the film "Neptune's Daughter."

Naturally this article overlooked Red Skelton and Betty Garrett also singing the same song in the same movie only with the male and female roles reversed. Yeah. I am sure that was a total accident.

Yawn.

So they made a "woke" version, who cares.

It'll be a hit at all the "woke" holiday parties, etc.

The song remains in its original form to be sung that way, or not.

I think the original is more than fine.

Me Too is garbage. Want a new song? Write one. Leave that one alone. Women used to love that one as it was too...you know....FEMININE women.

Mostly the original song is about plausible deniability....something even the manly women love to abuse today in a different way....not rape.
