Judge narrows Woody Allen lawsuit against Amazon for quitting movie deal

Like him or hate him, believe the charges or not, it's just dishonest business on Amazon's part for backing out of the deal. If Allen were convicted of a crime, then it would be understandable. But to renege on a contract over "allegations" and "accusations"? Let's hope, for the sake of a fair and reasonable world, that does not become the standard.

I can foresee abuse with this. A company or wealthy person in a contract they don't want can pay indirectly and nontraceably for an accuser. They can then use that as an excuse to back out.

Lets hope he wins, a company shouldn't be allowed to pull out of contract based on "unproven claims".
