The music video of “Butter” racked up over 17 million views on Youtube in less than an hour

This means absolutely nothing when click farms used by South Korean promotional companies inflate the figures by the 10's of millions. It's a complete farce. The fact that the Billboard rankings take Youtube clicks into account makes it all the more ridiculous.

You sound pretty hateful of Kpop. If you don't like it, then just ignore it? Why are you wasting your energy on it? What are you trying to achieve by claiming they pulled some click farm trick without any source of evidence to back your claim?

inflated numbers from obsessed fans. their new song sounds like a rip off from Disneys 2006 hit musical High School Musical.

The 'inflated numbers from K-pop fans' played a role in putting egg on the face of the ill-mannered fascist Trump when he went to Tulsa last year and saw that a lot of Americans HATE him. It sure embarassed him bigtime, too.

I call that a positive development.

You sound pretty hateful of Kpop.

You sound like you're making a sweeping generalisation.

If you don't like it, then just ignore it?

As a listener of music, I do ignore it. But when this website does its utmost to bring this sonic trash as "headlines" here, I repsond to it.

Why are you wasting your energy on it?

On the same token, why areyou wasting time not ignoring me? Nothing I post is going to sway your opinion. It actually sounds like you hate opinions different to your own.

What are you trying to achieve by claiming they pulled some click farm trick without any source of evidence to back your claim?

I'm trying to acheive "truth from unfounded response". See, if I post some embellished, yet highly plausible claim, some with actual proof will come along and refute my claim easily, and make me look like a fool. Since no one has ever done this over the last 3 years, I'm pretty confident they DO use click farm to make themselves look far more popular than they really are. You're welcome to refute this claim at any time.
