Kabuki actor Shido Nakamura, 37, has been voted the celebrity that fans would most like to see dressed up as Iron Man, according to the results of a poll by Paramount Pictures Japan. The poll was conduced ahead of the June 11 release of "Iron Man 2," starring Robert Downey Jr, Mickey Rourke, Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle and Scarlett Johansson.
Paramount asked the question -- "Which Entertainer/Celebrity would you like to be Iron Man" -- on its official website. Nakamura was voted #1, followed by actor Toshiaki Karasawa, 46, and artist Masahiro Fukuyama, 33, at #3.
Nakamura savored the honor by appearing at a promotional event in an Iron Man suit designed for a cosplay contest by a businessman. Nakamura handed out business cards that said: "Main job: Kabuki actor. Side Job: Iron Man."
"I can't tell you how happy I am as I love cosplay," Nakamura gushed. "Being a hero feels good. I want to hug each and every fan who voted for me."
Nakamura said he needed three staff to help him put the suit on. "If you get a chance to wear one of these, make sure you go to the toilet first," he said laughing.

So the subtext to the question would be: Which entertainer's/talentless airhead's face and body would you most like to have completely covered in metal?
Fadamor
But Kabuki actors are much more respected than your average "tarento", ne?

Was it an open questionnaire on the website, or the usual, "Choose one from these 4~5 celebrities?"

yeah he did at the news-conference. and as we can always expect from actors here (over and bad acting), his act under spidey-suit, his facial expression after took of the mask make spiderman's image look like a psychosis moron villain rather than a friendly neighborhood.
