Kanye West says he's been 'used' on politics

The media is giving heavy coverage to Kanye’s statement while refusing to cover the event in question. It was a Turning Point USA young black leaders conference featuring 500 conservative African-Americans. Kanye apparently helped design the Blexit logo but didn’t want his name used, which is a reasonable request.

The fewer talking heads using their celebrity, the better.

At last, the penny drops.

The Blexit movement is mired in spin and misdirection.

He needs to go back on his meds.

And then, who knows, he could be the head of African-American outreach. Omarosa did a great job last time!

Kanye/Trump was so grotesque I could barely watch. It was even more cringe-inducing than a Julia Davis sitcom. Old Kanye needs to keep away from politics, take his medicine and make music.

Kanye only cares about publicity and I always assumed it was a matter of time before he distances himself from the Trump campaign once its usefulness has finished. It's what he's been doing his whole career, bouncing from one self-made controversy to another, especially when a new album is going to drop. It seems to have been a successful strategy so far.

It could be that "Community Cohesian" and "Cultural Sensitivity" are under threat here.

What does race have to do with it? You're the one who is putting that forward. Why is it an issue for you?

The guy wasn't smart enough to see it in the first place. Not a fan of his music, yet he is an awesome musician. He should stick to what he knows.
