Prime Minister Keir Starmer's Labour government is considering overhauling the law to allow AI companies to use creators' content on the internet to help develop their models, unless rights holders opt out.

Aagh yes. Unless Thee holder “old opt out “ catch. This automatic opt in, is at the disadvantage of the creators. It should be an automatic OPT OUT.. Not automatic opt IN. It common sense. Maybe not from the A.I business sense but it business sense when it comes to the creators. Although to be fair they really didn’t give a monkeys when the A.I was going after other artists. Photographers, translators, Actors, painters, et al jobs. But I guess now they feel motivated to do something now the A.I is coming after their job and earnings. I will always say it’s humans that pay taxes, not A.I.
