Keanu Reeves makes directorial debut with modern kung fu film

Some actors, like Sean Connery improve with age.

It's sad to say that Keanu Reeves isn't amongst them.

Hopefully it's better than his acting.

Gentlemen, remember that Mr. Reeves is primarily action eye candy; his acting abilities are secondary. I wish him well with his directorial debut.

Have to admit, he is kinda packing on some serious weight, starting to remind me of Val Kilmer a bit.

There is kung fu fighting.

Those cats are fast as lightning.

And it is a little bit frightening.

They do it with expert timing.

His acting persona is pretty consistent, from "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure" through "Matrices", it's been nearly the same. Oh, and "Point Break " : "I AM AN FBI AGENT"… flat, 2D, dude!

big fan of kung fu but not wire-fu so i hope its not that kind of a movie...

Probably good for killing time with a miniature screen on an airplane, though.

He was born in Lebanon, not Canada.

Acting skills (or lack thereof) aside, this is a really great guy.

I hope he'd work better behind the scenes.
