Actor Ken Watanabe, 50, gave a supporting cheer for the Samurai Blue national World Cup team at a press conference for NTT Docomo this week. "Make it into the Top 4, aim to win. Take onto the field with you courage and resolution, and remember that your country is depending on you," the actor said.
Docomo's new campaign commercial features Watanabe and singer-songwriter Kaela Kimura, 25, as two Docomo mobile phones, along with Masaki Okada, 20, and Maki Horikita, 21, in human roles. Watanabe joked, "I'd like to continue making more commercials from here on out, so if I could just trade numbers with Kaela."© Japan Today
