They should care more about trying to create some good entertainment for a change!

That ball would also be in the studios' court. But, there certainly hasn't been a shortage of quality these last few years, despite Covid.

Tons of quality stuff on the streamers: Succession, The Bear, Severance, Hacks, What We Do in the Shadows, The Boys, Goliath, The Sinner, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, The Old Man, Shrinking, Schmigadoon, Handmaid's Tale, and on and on and on and on...

Some quality stuff coming back to the cinema and live stage, as well.

Not all of it may be your personal cup of tea. But, there's plenty of good entertainment, in general. And, I'm looking forward to some more, after the strikes are settled in the unions' favor.

the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, which represents most Hollywood crew members and struck an 11th hour deal to avoid a strike in 2021. That contract expires next year.

I hope their leadership does the right thing this time, because they bent over for the studios back in '21.

Strangerland

they meant that Hollywood is too liberal. It's a dog whistle.

Oh, I know. I was just trying to demonstrate what an erroneous comment it was, not based on reality.

I also figured Handmaid's Tale might trigger him.

Oh, I think you misunderstood, when that poster said they should care more about trying to create some good entertainment for a change, they meant that Hollywood is too liberal. It's a dog whistle.

It's a solid hypothesis.
