It’s a difficult case as Kevin spacey is an amazing actor and frankly trapp is the annoying gay doctor on Star Trek. One hopes both can find someway to end this as it seems to have been going on long after #me2 movement’s peak..

Drama/acting is a very explicit profession, I would suggests there are those in the profession who are swept up in the #me too moment, rather than adopting to the profession, a profession that requires your personal space, integrity to be invaded regularly.
You can not tell a story if you can't portray 'with' full emotion the interaction between people.
My son wanted to take up acting as a side hustle, I asked him if he was prepared to kiss people he wouldn't kiss in real life, he gave up that idea and caddy instead, less money but less personal sacrifices.

I am not sure if you realize this or not, but the outcome of a trial does not rest on which person is the better actor.
I mean, do you really think that just because you didn't like Rapp's performance that Spacey should get away with assulting him? I ask, because that is what your comment amounts to.

interesting way to describe that encounter.

Life and the law can be tough on a man without presidential teflon, but, fortunately for Spacey, he'll probably wriggle out of his predicament with a financial settlement.

He has so much more to'wriggle' his way out.
He still has four counts of sexual assault charges in the UK too.
Some seem to be happy to give him way too much 'wriggle room'.

Great actor, horrible human being.

I felt the same way about Bill Cosby. I remember him as a child, his appearances on PBS shows, 'Fat Albert', and as an adult 'Cosby Show', his comedy, educational documentaries and everything. I am also aware that in the 60s he pioneered in Black Americans on TV shows - he was a main character on a police detective show. That's historical for sure.
But 63 different women who didn't know each other and who were raped in the same manner, that's no smear campaign or conspiracy. I was very saddened when he got convicted for sex crimes, he reacted in the manner many of them do. Then I knew. He's a monster. After all this time, a hero of my entire lifetime was exposed.
Being a great actor can be a brilliant disguise. I was saddened about Cosby's crimes because I didn't want to believe. But when the evidence piles up and the truth unfolds, you have to.
