The price of fame. Not everyone is an adoring fan. It is very egotistical to think they would be.

Says the woman who became incredibly wealthy by offering her personal life and body as entertainment.

Get off of stupid social media then. Problem solved

As the late, great Terry Wogan once said of celebs and social media, “Look, I know I’m incredibly famous, but here’s what I had for breakfast.”
Sorry, not sorry, that someone that became famous by basically ‘showing off’ is now complaining about those consequences.

Me. Me. Me. What about all the people who have never met societal ideals for beauty in their lives, ever?
Should you be shamed for your body? No. Neither should 6B others in the world. Get over it.
However, you should be shamed for many of your actions as an adult. Those were your choices.

Dear Kim,
How did you become famous?
Making a certain type of adult videos, showing your body and doing sexual acts.
Can you really have any shame left?
I don't think so Kim.
Oh yeah... She getting a divorce soon, she wants it.
Dear Kim, how many times did you divorce?
None of that was bad, this is what upset her.

Cry me a bloody river. This, coming from someone who revelled in the limelight while being Paris Hilton's companion, then when her own sex tape came out, took it to another level and had a decade-old reality show about her and her family. I can't say I've watched a single minute, let alone a complete episode. Yeah, she cried everyday..... when she looked at her bank balance.
It's no wonder she put on weight if she was having her cake and eating it.
Charmaine Dela Cruz
Body shamers really broke her, but starring in a sex tape for all to see didn't phase her in the least.

No sympathy at all. None. She's famous for being famous and was perfectly happy to throw herself out there as a sexualized piece of meet. NOW that she's nearing her mild expectation date, suddenly she's been wronged. Nope.
starpunk
She's also like Madonna is now. More of a construct than a woman.
No sympathy.

Her weight gain came years ago but it is in the rear, not where most of us women gain weight when pregnant.

Not a fan but, damn ....past-celebrity narcissism is an interesting thing. They’re still trying to find ‘relevance’ in a mostly disinterested world where YouTube and streaming services are now dominant.
First, Justin Timberlake and now, Kim Kardashian are trying hitch on Britney Spears sympathy train, using for their own PR because they have nothing else going on now
We shouldn’t worry. They’ll be fine. For example, master manipulator Kim is making a ‘plus size’ profit from all the ‘free publicity’ from Kanye’s ‘mental instability, etc “In Jun ‘20, Kardashian- (soon to drop “West”) sold a 20% stake in her KKW Beauty brand to conglomerate Coty for $200 million. And her shape-wear brand, Skims (formerly KImOno) has sold some 3 million units since its launch 9 months earlier). -

Poor thing.
You make money selling your body and then complain??
TokyoJoe
3rd divorce incoming and counting. The only thing broken is that young impressionable girls look upto her.

Personally, I think the body positivity movement that excuses the ticking time bomb that is obesity is terrible.
But I applaud JT for a least taking a moral stand against something in choosing to publish this article.
Oh, wait. I just took a look at another thread involving a conservative.

Shaming "ideas" is fine when they are wrong. Keep comments about the ideas.
Shaming "physical things" is not. Picking on someone about height, weight, eye color, skin color is not ok.

It's easy enough for those of us who can get off social media, and suddenly we're left alone. With her and her family, there will be papparazzi everywhere they go. People interviewing them "what do you think about what so and so said about your [fill in body shame here]" etc.
I think people also forget, she's a human being. Having the attention of tens of millions of people isn't something there's a manual for, nor is it something humans have developed to deal with.
Maybe a bit of humanity to remember she's a human being just like the rest of us. So maybe not body shaming. Or shaming her for being "dumb".

Yet, -@Starngerland 1:58a -“people interviewing them: "what do you think about ...” - when answering Any question, a Kardashian’s first words are always; *“For me, ...”.* - There has always been and continues to be ‘*competing degrees of narcissism*’ throughout, in Every family member, from the ‘mother(?)’ to the youngest sibling.
Yes, -“she's a human being. Having the attn of millions of people isn't something there's a ‘manual”. - They sought out the fame through ‘manipulating’ that same “paparazzi everywhere they go” - Then, created and control their ‘reality shows’ editing the content and ‘image’. - All, masterfully taught by the mother, vicariously living out ‘her fame’ through them.
