Kore-eda: Japanese master whose films never lack heart

I really like most of Koreeda's films. I wish the writer here would've gone a little more into the the plot and story about "Shoplifters" for which he won this award for like he did for "Like Father, Like Son".

"Nobody Knows" is one of my favorite films and I recommend it highly. It's pretty heartbreaking.

Aye, Speed. Based on a true story, apparently.

Isn't anyone worried that viewers may learn a lot about shoplifting and give it a try?
