Actress Koyuki, 35, will dub the voice of Charlize Theron, 36, in the Japanese-language version of the upcoming fantasy film, "Snow White and the Huntsman."

Theron plays the evil Queen Ravenna in the film which stars Kristen Stewart as Snow White and Chris Hemsworth as the Huntsman. It is being released to mark the 200th anniversary of the famous story by the Brothers Grimm.

Koyuki said she was thrilled to have the chance to dub the voice of Oscar winner Theron and to be part of telling such a famous fairy tale.

"Snow White and the Huntsman" opens in both Japan and the U.S. on June 6. It is the second Snow White movie this year. "Mirror Mirror" is the other and stars Julia Roberts as the evil queen.

We're only going to get to hear her voice? Koyuki should star in the Mirror Mirror version as Snow White opposite the evil queen Julia Roberts!

@ AquArin: this is a movie for kids, not all of them want to study English from the age of 3, so there is a clear need to dub them into Japanese. And if you go to movie theaters or if you rent a DVD, in most cases you have a choice of subtitles or dubbing.

I wonder what happens if a Japanese mangaka adapts Snow White for a..mature audience, it'll make us ponder at things like:

Is the witch actually evil? no snow white, you are the evil
