She didn't like the first two models, and if '03' doesn't work out they've produced a dozen or so more models for her to try out, hence the zero. That, or he started working on music when he was 19 and lacks creativity, so he chose the year as his official name after the all-caps KENJI.

I missed the part where they've only gone out for four months... that makes me feel less inclined that it will last. Hope for them it was the right decision, though, and again best of luck.
