American pop singer Lady Gaga arrived in Japan on Tuesday night. Lady Gaga, who flew in from Hong Kong, is in Japan for three concerts at Saitama Super Arena on May 10, 12 and 13 as part of her "The Born This Way Ball" tour which will see her perform 110 concerts in Asia, Europe and the U.S. over six months.
The Saitama concerts will be her first in Japan since 2010, though Lady Gaga has been to Japan twice since the March 11 disaster to show her support for the country and her "little monsters," as she calls her fans.
About 250 Japanese fans were on hand to greet the singer, who was dressed in a black Versace mini-dress and wearing 25-cm high heels.
Ahead of her arrival, a teacup used by Lady Gaga on a previous visit to Japan fetched 6 million yen in an online auction to raise funds for those affected by the 2011 tsunami.© Japan Today
