Sorry, Lady Gaga, it's a little late to pretend that you're shocked now that you've already made all your money off of your song with him.

That ain't all

Lady Gaga has shown some BDSM content and 'dry-hump' actions in her videos - just like Madonna and has made $M off the imagery as well. And she knew darn well how disgusting R Kelly is.

Celine Dion did a duet with this perv before he even married his teen bride. She hasn't said anything on this.

That ain't all. He married a 15 year old singer (he had sex with her before that), much of his songs are a bit pornographic in nature, his reactions in concerts with teen fans have shown some gross activity (leading to concert calculations), and he has expressed pedo sentiments several times before.

Lady Gaga has expressed some gross sexual content in some videos herself and in songs like 'Disco Stick'. Now she's trying to put on a 'who, me? Good girl' persona with the 'A Star Is Born' biz but just watch, she'll be Ms. Scuzzy Sleaze again in a couple of years. Madonna did that stunt in the late 80s, then she got extremely sickening and dirty in the next decade with her music, videos and that 'Sex' book.

So what's wholesome?

That's a question that probably doesn't have an answer we would all agree on. However I would personally suggest that a general shift away from violence towards more positive themes might be a good start.

Followed by curtailing the hard core porn industry with its gutter level sex that reduces women to mere objects of men's animalistic desires. Perhaps replace that trash with themes of romance, good clean fun sex and softer, more realistic erotic content.

In music, how about eliminating rap that has lyrics which demean women and promotes violence towards them?

And then of course there's the personal behavior of many in the entertainment industry......sexual misconduct, pedophilia, drugs and alcohol abuse, etc.

Such changes would help the entertainment industry become a powerful force for good in society.

Quote: Gaga in 2013 released a duet with Kelly called "Do What U Want (With My Body.)"

"I intend to remove the song off of iTunes and other streaming platforms and will not be working with him again," she wrote on Wednesday. "I'm sorry,... for my poor judgment when I was young.”

She he was young in 2013?

I'm not sure there is an industry that isn't.

LOL

I kneejerked and thought of the pet industry then remembered the puppy mills.

Gaga is overrated.

They needed a new Madonna, she was the best they could do.

It's a pity that the entertainment industry is so rife with depravity.

Many in the entertainment industry lecture the rest of the world about morals. Yet, it seems the industry itself has a lot of cleaning up to do.

110% Agreed!

producing more inspiring and wholesome material

"Wholesome" is a loaded word:

What's wholesome? For example, to some, a nuclear family is wholesome. To others, any loving family regardless of configuration is wholesome.

Is promoting the nuclear family an act of lecturing everyone else about morality? Or is promoting any loving family regardless an act of lecturing?

Artists of either one may simply consider it just wholesome material and not lecturing. Who's right and who's wrong then?

So what's wholesome?

It's a pity that the entertainment industry is so rife with depravity. The industry does produce many great movies and some fantastic music. If only the industry would clean up its act, stick to producing more inspiring and wholesome material and avoid lecturing everyone else about morality.

About time this guy was relegated to the dustbin of popular culture.

Since then, his music has been good even though half of his songs seem to be about sex.

Most songs are :-)

I will never forget a concert I went to in Anaheim back in 1994. It featured Coolio, Warren G, Heavy D and R. Kelly was the closing act. R. Kelly had 3 curtain calls during the concert and there was a point where lights went on, everyone was leaving and he called everyone back because he had more songs to unveil to us. At that point, I found him to be extremely passionate about his music.

Since then, his music has been good even though half of his songs seem to be about sex. Now though, I think twice when I listen to R. Kelly because of constant accusations of pedophilia and owning sex slaves. Any songs about sex from him bring on a whole new meaning.
