Hogwash. How is it possible to travel halfway around the world to be paid a lot of money and have no awareness of any noise around the country involved. Who advises this woman?

In the words of the immortal cat Garfield, "Big Fat Hairy Deal!" Who cares? Leave JLo alone. Blame the handlers who get paid to look after this crap.

Lol yeah right

She does anything for money. She could decline the offer

So she's either truly dumb or she's a liar.

Hey J-Lo, if you are that shaken up about it, how about donating the money from this concert to a human rights foundation… not that shaken up I assume.

@Graham

You're right. She's either so dumb she didn't know where she was going, or she's so dumb she thought folk would believe her stupid lie. I'd vote for the latter.

Shame. I used to quite like her.

Honestly, I don't know why people pay so much to hear her sing... she's a very bad singer although she can act better.

It was a dumb thing for her to do to go to this country without even checking about the country and the current situation over there, it only demonstrates that all she cares is about money, apologizing was a start, but she was still labelled as dumb.

Her PR staff, spin doctors and Mister 10 percenters must have been working overtime to solve this one... and the final solution, if in doubt, offer to donate the fees to charity to regain 'respectability'

Maybe she hasn't heard of the internet? Due Diligence.

I would have loved to have seen her face when the idea to play in Turkmenistan was first proposed, "Huh...Turkmenistan?...I've never heard of that city"

Return the money if you're really so sincere about your mistake, Lopez.
