I heard the REAL reason for their breakup is that Kermit is sick and tired of her hogging the limelight and is looking to spin off his own froggy reality show. But it won't start until after he's completed his planned sex change and taken on a new name, Kermecialyn. Which won't happen until after his/her interview with Barbara Waters.

I heard it was Miss Piggy's idea after Kermit converted to Judaism and could no longer eat pork.
