Then may 2018 will become the biggest nerdgasm in recorded history.

Meh! When they put too many superheroes in one movie, it usually means the story will suffer so not too hyped.

But what do they do after the Infinity War and the culmination of the Infinity Stones/Gauntlet

Seems like Iron Man's gonna die (Robert Downey Jr. says it's about time for him to leave)

The evil villain Thanos is preparing to take over the universe and Marvel has recruited all of its cinematic superheroes, from Iron Man and Thor to Doctor Strange and Spider-Man, to save the galaxy in the new trailer for "Avengers: Infinity War."

Change the names of the characters and you have the same plot in every superhero movie.

As usual with Hollywood, they milk a theme until it is stale and lifeless.  and go OTT.  Whis will result in a mishmash of story and characters.

Can't wait to see that movie! And Black Panther. And the one I've been waiting and hasn't appeared in any movies yet, Venom! Gosh I wish Carnage makes part of the movie at some point.

No. The one in Spider-man 3 wasn't Venom. That was a very poor wannabe venom.

I wonder if Adam Warlock will come up in Infinity Wars or later on.

They just reboot again of course :P Or make another parallel time line, cross over with Pirates of the Caribbean, Lord of the Rings, you have it :P

Unbreakable, The Dark Knight, Kick Ass beg to differ.

The Marvel Universe will continue as it has done, unhindered by sales or critics, for decades. It's escapism. Just like your football/sumo/baseball/hurling/opera/ballet/etc.

@Garthgoyle, yes, looking fwd to Black Panther. Ironically, it's 48 years since a real Black Panther - Fred Hampton - was assasinated. That's a film/documentary I'd like to see.

I'm not a big superhero movie fan, but those three were good exactly because they did not fit the mold. Kick Ass in particular. I went into that movie not even remotely interested in it, and walked out loving it.

Oh my god, what if people watch it and, and, .... enjoy themselves?! Gasp!

It's called escapism. If you've chosen not to frequent the cinemas, television, operas, plays, theatre that's down to you.

The trailers always look good, but after the shocking garbage of Civil War, I think I’m permanently off superhero movies. The quality is just too low
