Retire dude,....talk to the chair if you're not happy.

Good for him. Do what you feel like doing if you can. Have to say he looks in pretty good shape for his age.

I hope not.

Retire dude,....talk to the chair if you're not happy.

Did you read the article? He's very happy. And an inspiration to many. Maybe you should talk to a chair about your life.

Retire is not Ageiest, simply at 90 coming up with good stuff might involve enjoying life? The man is a legend. He has done some great things. Everyone I know is working to fund their retirement so I'm sorry you think it's Ageiest. I want everyone to enjoy their golden years and he certainally has the funds. And a chair or two.

He is enjoying life. Suggesting that sitting in a rocking chair is the best use of his remaining years is a bit ageist, yes. I really doubt that any of us can teach this guy how to live life.

The US needs some movies that will put it back in good order.

Flags of Our Fathers was released in the build up for the Iraq war.

It is great movie about the cynical exploitation of the men (and women) who actually have to go and fight and die.

I wasn't a real Clint fan until then.

However, the movie had zero effect on the country's (the US) consciousness and showed how little influence movie and Hollywood actually have,

On the one hand I like his acting and his movies.

On the other hand I believe Dirty Harry was the start of our rogue, violence escalating and murdering police force which has let us to the anti-cop riots of today. I hope he not only makes no more movies like that but actually stands up to denounce Dirty Harry and the legacy it has left us.

You have a point. But also worth remembering the era. When Dirty Harry was made, violent crimes in the US had almost tripled in 10 years, and people were fed up. Movie like Dirty Harry and Death Wish tapped into real fears and angers. He has made many more nuanced films about violence since (Unforgiven, Mystic River...).

I think if we are to reform the police, we have to reform society and government as well. The thugs in uniform America has now didn't get created in a vacuum.

Clint's a refreshing throwback to a what a real man is supposed to be: A bit tough, polite, a sly sense of humor, and doesn't poor his heart out like a girl.

Reminds me a lot of my dad. I like his sensibilities. Like his movies. Clint's the man.

You might classify me as young but the only memory I have of this man was his talk to chair show during the 2012 election. Thats what my generation know abt him. And it isn't that impressive.

I remember when he was mayor of Carmel, California! I was stationed at a Navy base near San Francisco at that time. By then his movies were classic - 'Dirty Harry', all the way back to 'Good Bad and Ugly' which theme was used as the opening music before a Ramones show. And that is impressive.

He already was an icon. If he still can do it and it's still fun, go for it Clint! And happy 90th birthday.

If Clint not retiring in his 90s, no celebrity needs to be retiring

Love the guy, just love him, nothing more to add. Hope he lives as long as Kirk Douglas. Happy birthday Mr. Eastwood.

Clint is one of the men you say, "He's the Man" about. The Man has made so many of my favorites, from The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly to Thunderbolt and Lightfoot to The Mule, he never disappoints. Happy 90th!

1920's gangsters.. I want to see an aged, 90-year-old ex-gunslinger from the Wild West take on gangsters from the roaring 20's. A last swan song from the unnamed gunslinger from the spaghetti westerns.

Beatle Paul has said he ain't gonna retire as long as he can do his trade either. He's still going strong too, his most recent CD 'Egypt Station' entered the US Album Chart at Number One.

Go ahead . . . Make my movie.

He's the man and I hope he a lot more movies and his wonderful phrases while he's still around.

"Get off my lawn!"
