I am in shock. Maisa has always been a little quiet, shy at times, but wow. I met her back in 2012 during the shooting of their first music video, Toumei and the second, Laundry. We kept in touch till 2014, and as they got more and more famous, I was always so happy to see their dream coming true.

Having lost other people to suicide in my life, all I can say is:

SUICIDE is a PERMANENT solution for a TEMPORARY problem. It is not worth it.

You not only end your own life, but the lives of the ones who love you too.

Ask for help, there's nothing wrong with seeing a psychologist or taking meds.

Another suicide of a Japanese entertainer.

Sad.

Who was the poster the other day, on the article about BTS doubling in trade on the first day of the stock exchange who said, "When I think of South Korea I think of suicides"? He clammed up pretty quick when I pointed out the four very high profile suicides here of celebrities in less than that many months, and now we have another one. It is not a race, and it is not limited to one country. Suicide is a HUGE problem world-wide, but it is how countries deal with it that makes the numbers differ, and people here are not dealing with it well, and never have. I am very glad to see articles and link, by news sites and posters alike, and I wish it were not such a stigma here to seek help.

Some choose death while some want to live even getting other person's heart.

Horrible.

For those who think that the cure for suicide is to man up, put a brave face on, suck it up etc - it's really not that easy. And not helpful in the least.

I've lost friends due to them taking their own lives and a lot of the time- it's too difficult to reach out. You become trapped in your own head, you don't want to inconvenience others and things can get so bleak that the only choice is to top yourself.

Start with a little at a time. Take a break from social media, even if only for a day or two. Ring a friend - good friends don't shy away from talking to each other. Take a walk in the fresh air. Treat yourself with a new book, LP, pair of shoes dress, jacket etc. Whatever retail therapy suits. Watch a comedy. Little steps.

I know it helps me.

Raison d'etre?

A life recognized. Regardless.

Pity the family, not her.

Cant play concerts. Can't make money. Bills start to pile up. This is the governments fault and the mass hysteria of covid. I know many business owners that lost their business and or suffering. The mask are not helping either. People dont want to go out shopping and deal with all the mask. Tech companies love it though because everyone buys products online as malls a shopping areas become shutter towns. Even if you let people take the mask off, you now got half the populations turned into hypochondriacs who are scared to go outside if people don't wear the mask. Media really made a generation of mental illness. And the children will have it the worst.

In the end I blame myself for being compliant. At least my kids are not scared and understand what's going on.

There is almost no reason for suicide. No, you have to avoid the things that torture you or if possible expose to them intentionally and celebrate every time you get over. The same with bad people. Avoid them, if they are too strong, move anywhere else, even to another country, whatever. Or fight back, but only civilized, with knowledge, with words, not with violence. They only want you to use violence to catch you and bring you nearer to suicide again. Don’t do them such a pleasure. But fight back with all your little possibilities, that will keep you alive and happy every single day.

This needs to stop!

Ancestors would be disappointed to see the modern Japanese, living 10x better then they did during their life... End up committing suicide!

You had a bad day? It's life deal with it.

100 frank comments a day? Don't read them.

You just had a baby? Ask for help, tell someone your struggle.

Sad to see what takes the life of people this days, young people, healthy, good looking, successful.... Sad! Shameful!

Corona media works its way into everyone’s life. I can’t say why this person chose to end her life. But somehow, I think it’s overall a corona effect.

Rest in peace.
