He’s also a pretty “mushroom” mellow guy now and interesting to listen to. His interview with Joe Rogan was good.

And your point is what exactly?

@commanteer

I'm sure Yrral can speak for himself, but I'm guessing his point is that Tyson is in no way a victim, and his claims that he is, is an insult to real victims including those victims of Tyson.

Always amusing to see liberals side with the giant multi-billion dollar corporation because the other side doesn't pass their purity test. You can also see this play out with how they don't give a damn about the working class anymore - they're the ones who tend to not fall in line with ideological mores.

Big Mikes a legend. He has come full circle in his life and his podcast ‘hotboxing’ is always a great listen. Check out when he had Holyfield on for what reconciled champions look, act and sound like.

Did I read the article correctly? Did those that wrote the script just do ‘research’ and never bother to talk to the man himself? Hulu really? Let’s see what sort of tale they have chosen to spin.

Iron Mikes on your case though, so producers, good luck with that!

When a big time Movie House produces my life story, I want paid. It's my life and it's not for sale. Im with you MIKE!

Are we suggesting Mike is working class? Trailer trash, sure. But remember "slave" Tyson managed to piss up 500 million dollars. Maybe his basketball buddies can take another knee for him.

Cammanteer, under all states or cities or town ,he is required by law to register with the local police as sex offender

Micheal, anybody that know you or associated with you,can make a movie, about their social involvement with you

Wouldn't they be robbers instead of slave masters?

Disney is nothing but another oligarchy that the so-called “friends of socialism” left are in team with. The movie industry takes the liberty of making biopics on people they have no right to, for their own left political agenda.

Leftist oligarchy.

The fact that so many here have a problem with the above fact is quite disturbing.

In many states and countries the perpetrator of violent and sexual crimes are also banned from making any profit from their crime including selling their story.

What Yrral wrote is a fact yes I know many here do not like facts as evidenced by 8 at this point not liking the fact that Tyson is a sex offender.

As for the rest, there have been story written, movies, TV shows, TV series, made about many celebrities without their permission or paying compensation.

Anyone pay the UK Royal family for the numerous movies on them?

How about the Kennedy family again TV series, multiple movies,, books, etc...

Example, the Family of Dr Martin Luther King only got paid for the portion of movies and TV shows of his life because they own the copyright to all his speeches, so if none of Dr. Kings speeches are used in the movie than no money needs to be paid.

This is the reason there are books called "unauthorized biographies" and "authorized biographies".

Seems Tyson wants to play the "slavery " card and judging by the way the headline is written, it sort of worked.

Re: what movies, TV etc. do/can do.

Yes, they do. And that’s why it’s a garbage culture, which it wasn’t 50 years ago.

I met the dude who beat Tyson in Feb. 1990, 'Buster' Douglas. Now THAT is a pretty “mushroom” mellow guy. He never let his championship go to his head, he never beat his wife, none of that.

If Tyson doesn't like how the media (or history) portrays him, he has nobody to blame but himself.

Thank you, but I didn't ask you to define "sex offender." We all know what it means. I asked what your point was, since I don't see any connection between calling him a sex offender and the article, which is about a multi-billion dollar corporation exploiting his story for profits that he will see none of.

There is a lot of evidence that she knew exactly what she was doing and that he was setup. If you go to Mike Tyson's hotel room at night alone, I think you know what to expect. An ex-boyfriend of hers testified that she also falsely accused him of rape after consensual sex. Watch interviews of her at the time. She's all smiles and laughs.

It is his (Mike Tyson's) story and since he is still very much alive he deserves a share of gross takings at the very least. If he is not compensated, then he is indeed a victim of Hulu profiteering of the backs of others.

Mike! Let's do a movie about you. But at the end I knock you out and am the worlds greatest boxer of all times. OK? Deal?!

Hulu, which is only available in the United States, is majority-owned by Disney.

Get your facts straight makes the facts in the rest of your story questionable.

considered one of the best heavyweights of all time

One of the most entertaining maybe but name one genuine world class heavyweight in his prime that Tyson beat? Just one.....

Yesterday's counterculture is today's establishment.

i.e. Animal Farm.
