Then she never should've got married in the first place. As for being a 'homemaker in an apron', what decade/century are we living in anyway?
Concerned Citizen
From an interview with Miley Cyrus. Thier marriage was doomed from the start.
Kaerimashita
Beats me why so many celebs even bother with marriage. So many of them seem destined to fail. This one was one of those. At least Miley is being honest when she says she doesn't think she is marriage material.
bass4funk
Happened faster than I expected.
JustAGoodOleBoy
Hhmm...really thought those two love birds were going to make it.
Kestrel
As far as these two are concerned believe nothing they say. Its all glitter and bs and publicity for their “careers”.
Agreed, genuine people keep their private lives private. Its weird so many are even in this day and age buying into the bs.

pansexual
/panˈsɛkʃʊəl/
Learn to pronounce
adjective
adjective: pansexual; adjective: pan-sexual
1.
not limited in sexual choice with regard to biological sex, gender, or gender identity.
noun
noun: pansexual; plural noun: pansexuals; noun: pan-sexual; plural noun: pan-sexuals
1.
a pansexual person.
As I said, nothing "creepy" about it at all. And yet, some still want to judge others for their sexuality.
Strangerland
No, that's not what it means. It means everything human - male, female, transgender.
starpunk
Domestic abuse makes a marriage invalid, a sham. There's no justifying that - ever.
'Pan' refers to 'everything' 'Pantheism' is the idea that God is everything - the whole Universe and everyone in it, all of us. 'Pansexual' -- does that imply that Miley is sexually attracted to (or has a fetish for) everything? That would include things like necrophilia, bestiality, incest, etc. That's creepy!
wtfjapan
Calling her a "tart", saying she needs "counselling" etc. Nobody is saying that about Hemsworth.
well I havent yet seen any questionable behaviour from Hemsworth to justify any criticism. Miley well just have to look at her perfromances over the last few years. Would you as a parnet allow your daughter to look up to Miley as a role model!? I understand she wanted to shake that good girl Disney image but twirking half naked around on stage all in the name of fame , money, then deciding that being a wife wasnt something she wanted to be . Ive got no repect for degrading media whores whether they be men or women, just one step away from porn/prostitution. At least in prostitutes and porn actors you know they willing accept theyre selling their bodies for money

How sad. The frivolous attitude towards marriage, sex and relationships of many of the rich and famous doesn't satisfy, but rather leads to more and more loneliness in the end.
sourpuss
I just feel bad for the kids.
CoconutE3
These are all Hollywood's farce marriages. Other examples would be Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner, Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra etc.... Only believe the marriage is real when they have kids. Marriage among US celebrities is the same as saying "I do" in Vegas.
Toasted Heretic
But sometimes they can't. If there's domestic abuse, for example. Not saying that's what's going on in this particular situation, obviously.
Doesn't sound creepy at all. Sounds honest.
starpunk
'Evolving'? Can't stay in a marriage, so you shuck it off like an old T-shirt. Marriages are meant to be worked out, for better or for worse. And her referring to herself as 'pansexual' sounds just too creepy. This marriage is totally bogus right from the start.
DaDude
Well this gets Miley back into the spotlight since her father has been running things lately taking his horse down to Old Town Road.
coskuri
Over-interpretation. Even if they are not celebs, many couples don't want outsiders to know their problems. I remember a family friend that asked divorce and told everybody "because I've met someone" . Actually there was a huge mess (cheating, health issues, debts...), things she did not want to discuss with the baker, the neighbor's sister in law, etc.
The Hemworth parents are maybe not different. They successfully marketed 3 offsprings.
Peter14
Miley doesn't get that being in a long term relationship of husband and wife means her attraction to women and other men can never be acted upon. She wanted an open marriage and that was never going to work.
Perhaps her privileged life has left her unable to resist basic urges and she thinks she should be allowed to be with whoever she wants, whenever she wants regardless of her status of being married. Poor Liam who would be more than enough for any other woman finds he is not enough for Miley. Good luck to him in the future and sadly, after a number of tries I fear Miley will end up alone and sad once her looks fade.
Toasted Heretic
I wish Miley Cyrus and Lian Hemsworth the very best in their future endeavours and hope their breakup is not too acrimonious.
I hope that the Hollywood couple will be able to agree with each other whilst also agreeing to disagree on certain topics.
I'm sure Miley and Liam will continue a mutual respect for each other, depite occasional misgivings.
Jimizo
@Toasted Heretic
So, you don’t think the male ego ( note the all-encompassing idea here) is one of privilege and extraordinary fragility?
Your context point is a fair one, I couldn’t find the thread where you said this but I could find a later one where I quoted it and asked you about it. I’m not looking for a fight here, and I repeat my respect for you, but I hope you don’t think this is a fair description of the male ego.
commanteer
I'm not so sure about that. They are really just fictional characters as far as most people are concerned. Without knowing them in some way, we are just speculating who they are, based on a public image that may have little to do with who they are as people.
So I supposed Toasted is right in that sense. Calling this woman a tart is simply a form of projection that says more about the person speaking that Miley herself. She may be a horrible person, maybe not. But nobody here knows her at all, as far as I can see.
Toasted Heretic
On this thread?
If not, then that's a bit unfair without context, Jimizo.
Jimizo
@Toasted Heretic
My mistake. It wasn’t about dominating. You posted the following:
I was honestly offended by that. You know I respect you as a poster, but I don’t think this is fair, and this kind of idea leads to a very negative view of men.
Jonorth
Jeez, you people are rude. It's okay to have opinions about celebrities, but I'll never understand why people feel comfortable talking like that about others.
Jimizo
Imagine the uproar if a man had done that...
Toasted Heretic
Fair enough, I didn't actually make that comment, though.
Of course. My comments aren't aimed at you specifically. And nobody should be free from criticism, whatever their gender etc.
It's just annoying when criticism stoops to commentary on mental health, sexual activity or how attractive they are etc.
Again, not from you.
Jimizo
The comment I’m referring to was about “the male ego” being fragile and having a need to dominate. I remember it because I’ve come across it before from feminists who give the movement a bad name by falling into outright stereotyping of men and seem to think that’s acceptable. It isn’t, and I object to that kind of stereotyping. The people who do this have a low opinion of men and see what they do from this prejudiced perspective.
I’m not a music snob either but I can say what I see about characters. Miley Cyrus is a bit tacky, Kanye is a clown, Bono has a messiah complex, Morrissey is an a###hole etc.
It is possible to criticise women without it being motivated by hatred of women. I don’t hate women. I don’t see them as a threat. I’m not afraid of strong women - I married one.

Hannah Montana - Funny moments (part 1)...... I am a fan
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=McVhEP23OYo
look how does Hannah Montana morph into some degenerate cocotte?
Toasted Heretic
Not me, fella. I'm not a music snob & I don't rag on people's looks, age, weight etc.
I'm reacting to the repetitive misogyny I read on a daily basis. It's rarely "oh, she's a great actor/player/politician". It tends to be "oh, she's hot/sexy/ugly etc" or some comment about her ethnicity.
I've noticed. If you read my original comment, you'll see that I didn't say all men.
Jimizo
No.
Male singers get ripped - too old, past it, crap, plastic. Have you read what they write about boy bands?
Male actors get ripped - Hollyweird, preening SJWs, luvvies ( I do that ).
Male sports stars get ripped - NFL players taking the knee, whining kids like Neymar, preening Ronaldo, diving divas.
Male politicians get ripped and often for their looks - Trump and Johnson are two.
I just get the sense that you are very careful not to stereotype unless it comes to men, and then you are quick to see misogyny everywhere. I honestly took offense to your stereotyping of men. I wouldn’t dare do that about women and I don’t see why you see it as acceptable.
Toasted Heretic
Calling her a "tart", saying she needs "counselling" etc. Nobody is saying that about Hemsworth.
And yet, it's the women who are frequently abused here. Be they singers, actors, tennis players, politicians.
Why do you think this is, Jimizo?
Jimizo
No. I know you make negative sweeping statements about men, but I don’t think this is all about men with fragile egos with a need to dominate.
She is a bit tacky. Lots of men are tacky too.
Toasted Heretic
Poor Miley Cyrus, all to blame.
She's another perfect target for angry men who fear women and hate youth.
itsonlyrocknroll
Miley Cyrus needed parenting, not thrown to the hell hole of social media
JeffLee
Apparently, she licked his face a couple of times in front of photographers, which really peeved him off. The girl needs counseling.
itsonlyrocknroll
Is this article on Miley Cyrus is not a media invention?
Has not Father Billy Ray Cyrus and Mother Tish Cyrus, sold their daughter as a symbol of a contrived genetic strategy to stratify a distinct product need ? Is that naïve?. I dont think so
wtfjapan
always though Liam made a huge mistake, Miley getting restless she needs to be on stage half naked twirking in front of some men to have any meaning
GW
LOL too funny, actually I could never picture this tart as wife anyway!!
What a joke she is.
Hope Liam comes out with some $$ off the divorce, must have been a painful way to "live"!!
Kestrel
“Ever evolving...”. Thats some fadt evolving Miley - less than a year. But somehow the wirds evolution and Miley Cyrus dont seem to go together.
Pukey2
Why the hell get married then if you didn't want to be called a wife? There are people fighting for equal rights across the world, for the right to marry someone who happens to be of the same sex. And yet, we have people marrying and divorcing willy-nilly, without much thought. Just who the heck is making a mockery of marriage?
Joe Blow
Weird pairing; he seems like a nice guy (maybe too nice) but Miley is really gross.
