Miley Cyrus slams rumors she cheated on husband Liam in wild rant

Pop star Miley Cyrus clapped back at her social media haters Thursday over her recent split with longtime partner Liam Hemsworth, an Australian actor, to deny allegations that she cheated on him.

"I can accept that the life I've chosen means I must live completely open and transparent with my fans who I love, and the public, 100% of the time. What I cannot accept is being told I'm lying to cover up a crime I haven't committed. I have nothing to hide," the 26-year-old superstar tweeted.

She then detailed a laundry list of her youthful exploits, including "I lost a massive Walmart deal at 17 for ripping a bong" and "I got kicked off hotel Transylvania for buying Liam a penis cake for his birthday and licking it."

"I swung on a wrecking ball naked," referring to the video for her 2013 hit that saw her image grow decidedly more provocative than her days as a teen idol thanks to the hit show "Hannah Montana."

"But the truth is, once Liam & I reconciled,I meant it, & I was committed. There are NO secrets to uncover here," she continued. "I can admit to a lot of things but I refuse to admit that my marriage ended because of cheating. Liam and I have been together for a decade. I've said it before & it remains true, I love Liam and always will."

"BUT at this point I had to make a healthy decision for myself to leave a previous life behind. I am the healthiest and happiest I have been in a long time. You can say I am a twerking, pot smoking , foul mouthed hillbilly but I am not a liar."

The couple married in December in a private ceremony after a decade-long on-again, off-again relationship.

Hemsworth on August 12 released a statement to confirm the separation and "wish her nothing but health and happiness going forward."

In an interview for Elle magazine's July issue, Cyrus said she did not "fit into a stereotypical wife role" and that she was "very sexually attracted to women." Cyrus reportedly declared as a young teen that she was "pansexual."

She doth protest too much.

I'd say 'who cares', but sadly I know a whole lot of people actually do...

I'm no fan of either of them, but what she says rings true to me.

After all, she's an official 'Bad Girl' and he's a hunk who plays heroes. People do love to tear the Bad Girls down, don't they?

It should be illegal to publish either fact or specualtion about people's private lives without their express consent. And there will be enough of them who will consent to even crap like this so the gossip whores will win and the Greta Garbos wanting privacy will also win.

But it would be nice if the gossip whores would just take care of their own sexual needs so it does not feel the need to gossip about the sex lives of others and attack others.

Horrible and misleading headline. But of course, she's a strong and popular woman who's been forced to defend herself, so it must be a "rant", right?

Whatever!!!

monogamous marriage and extreme liberality aren't really things that can or should be mixed eh? Can she just carry on with her crazy life and be happy with it without locking on to anyone?

Well, finally you guys see how fake news works!

Her erratic behaviour doesn't help. If you want to keep your private life private, copy Lucy Liu.

She don't know what she wants to be. Liam doesn't need someone who can't commit. And the cake stunt shows pretty much what he meant to her from the start. Time for him to hit the eject button.

No it shouldn't. These people have enormous amounts of money and privilege because they knowingly sold their privacy for it. Maybe not so much the actor, but the singer has sold her private life again and again through social media and such. And made good money doing it. It's part of the package. If people weren't obsessed with their private life they wouldn't have nearly as much money.

Maybe they would be willing to trade money for privacy now, but you can bet they would rather surrender their privacy 100 times than go back the ordinary life that most people have to struggle through. Most people's lives are so miserable that they need to vicariously live through celebrity misery.

Both of them could achieve privacy easily, but they value their current careers more.

Miley likes girls. Nice

The crime here if I was the husband I would have to be included at least 1/3 of the time when fun things are happening. Just saying that's a plus for some guys not a negative.

Damn she's gross.

Sounds good, but it doesn't work if you actually love your wife and want to keep her. Say you are included half the time. You get some fringe benefits and your male friends all envy you, but at least one of those other women is going to try to drive a wedge between you. Sooner or later, they will get an opening, and you will break up.

It's much easier to compete against another guy for a woman's affection than against another woman. Women play that game way too well.

And this is news ??..

she really is gross. I guess it shows shes "progressive".

This is the second article about this insignificant bs. Arent you getting the feeling we're being manipulated for Miley and the other guys publicity?

Congratulations to Mr. Liam Hemsworth for dodging a bullet and saving himself.

Well, finally you guys see how fake news works!

It's third rate gossip designed to keep us proles happy. The likes of celebrity "journalism" is not news.

I wasn't expecting Bob Fisk or John Pilger you know.

I met a stripper once who told me she was stripping to pay for college. I asked what she was studying, and she said she wanted to be an entertainment journalist. I found that funny, as usually people go to school to get a better job than the one they currently have.
