Popular glamor model group Miniskirt Police have recruited four new members into their ranks. The existing members of the force introduced the new members at a press event in Tokyo.
One of the new recruits, 20-year-old Chika Aikawa, actually spent six months in the Kanagawa police traffic division but is more optimistic about her career prospects in the Miniskirt Police, saying, "I'm hoping to become Chief of Police some day."

She has long thick legs.
Wowza !!! Wowza !!!
Pestronika
You don't have models in costumes or miniskirts in America?
METinTokyo
Not sure what I did, but I'm sure they could coerce a confession out of me.
bonword
So...what exactly does this group do? Or do they solely exist because they exist?
chuckers
Solely exist to be sexist perhaps?
TheRat
I think that this is the ONLY avenue for the city police to increase their status, pay, and respectability. They should take a serious look at a new uniform. Just saying.
Sarge
I salute these ladies!
nath
YUM! never heard of the phrase "glamor model group" before but who the hell cares!
Blue_Tiger
Because, Wasabi67, in the USA, it smacks of "sexism". Too bad, really: I think that a miniskirt police force would do well over here...
vulcan
I like the second one from he left.
alladin
Yummy, yummy, yummy. Mini skirt police is out to get everyone. Is anyone here ready to get arrested by them?
Smythe
We suffer in the USA & my home of Canada as the gals are in slacks. Nothing like mini-skirts. What a shame.
Zenny11
Nothing wrong with slacks. Take well fitted ones that enhance the figure over a mini any day.
Lots of Nurses in Japan wear slacks and they can be pretty sexy in those.
MeanRingo
Wouldn't want to see Canadian or American police chicks in minis. Way too butch! Not these beauties. Second from the left for me.
John808
In slacks or in mini skirts, I think most normal males wouldn't mind being "arrested" by such cute looking Police women.
Junnama
If they're new recruits they need to go through miniskirt police academy :)
Triumvere
Number 2 is the only one to get the pose right. Wonder if that's Chika? Anyway, somebody is going to have to whip these ladies into shape...
goddog
Second from the left gets my vote and pair of gold plated handcuffs. Please take me!
cactusJack
"spread your legs, put your hands behind your back!"... I hear and obey!
thebottomline
slam dunk it, slip it, flip it and ride, that B double O T-Y oh my!

Yes, "Mini Skirt Police" was once a TV late night program way back in 1997/1998 or so. Goofy as usual, playing table tennis (and unusual games). I have to go back thru my old VHS videos to recall exactly. Had no idea they were still going.
NationalistRE
I used to watch the ending part back in 2000 just before Excel Saga aired. The legging has much improved since then.

The religious prudes, feminists et all would froth at the mouth at something like this
dolphingirl
Where can i get one of those outfits? It would make a great Halloween costume!
TheRat
The police would really benefit. I am sure there would be less haggling over speeding tickets. Major increase in image! I like the third from the left. Hope she can do conversation for ten minutes.
kansaifun
Ahh, the Miniskirt Police - one of the reasons I truly love Japan!
The total objectification of women compounded by the fact the recruits go along full salute!
Sarge
Number 2 does have the smartest salute.
"somebody is going to have to whip these ladies into shape"
They're in pretty good shape already.
EbiChiri
Never heard of them, how lame. Who gives a da*n ?!
tokyotom
no, yes, no and no

It would be very tough to do. You might find a large blue tarpaulin of that color, but the lay would not be right. You could sew it, but it would not give or breathe. You would get hot and sweaty.
The hat would be easier.
The reason that #2 looks so good is that she is stretching the material to the Max. (Maxx?) The others are letting it flop and crease. SHe looks crisp and the others look slouchy.
Shiny plastic has to be stretched or it looks like a garbage bag.
mikehuntez
These are the only police I admire in Japan.

We do have it. It's called cable television.
MatthewDPetrea
Hey i just hope I do something wrong. :)
sourpuss
My favorite episode was where they got a stunt driver to drive a car up on two wheels just so it could flop down, creating a swoosh of air that...wait for it...blew a girl's skirt above her waist.
Classic!

Is it fair to assume that the three on the right don't know that you are supposed to salute with your right hand? Or do you think they were directed to take that pose? I'd hate to think they were that empty-headed.
sourpuss
herefornow, you can't be putting your left leg forward and saluting with your right hand, now, can you. Have YOU ever been a miniskirt policewoman?
sheesh!
Elbuda Mexicano
I guess only in Japan can we have so cute police in mini skirts, or am I just ignorant of other countries??
CapnSinbad
I've been stopped by real female cops here and they are nasty, just loving their power over the hapless foreigner, and they are buck ugly with daikon legs and dour demeanor. I'd take these miniskirt babes anytime. Can I join ?
m6bob
Arrest me, onegai shimasu! Hayaku!
oberst
are these Japanese girl band ? or are they REAL cops ? never seen any outfit salute with left hand before............. interesting.
dokshinshatcho
they look so sexy , if they can sing I would prefer listen to them than c -rap or ganster rubbish ... that people call music .. nice legs ...did I see them in roppongi years ago ?
