Bread and circuses

As opposed to what? The democracy protests were also a form of circus driven by media attention. Remove the coverage and 90% of the masses lose interest. That's the power of media.

All CCP approved. So you know it's good.

As opposed to nothing. Just keeps people fat and happy. I can only imagine how mediocre this "band" are.

Glad Hong Kong can still squeeze a bit of freedom out of the arts. Here's my support for the work of Hong Kong artists and free thinkers wherever they can be found in the CCP

Milquetoast music for the masses. As adventurous as the Carpenters.

'Can't sing or play an instrument' as Lenny Kravitz once said.

Oooooooooh! Boy band in a shopping mall! In the Pop Mart. Fill those shopping carts with those goodies and swag, folks. Music sold as a product, like a tin can of baked beans. Safe and pre-approved for consumption by the CCP for the masses. Make that Hong Kong have a good clean image, hide all the repression, corruption and crap going on there.

Boy band is a bunch of good little boys. General public, this is your CCP-approved music, this is your entertainment.

Here they are just for you. Stock up on some swag, chumps!
