Mitsuhiro Mori shows amazing 'hand flute' skills

In all honesty, we didn’t even know such a thing as a hand flute existed, but Japan’s Mitsuhiro Mori has not only proved that it does, he has completely blown us away in the process.

Accompanied by his bandmate on piano, Mitsuhiro uses his bare hands as an instrument and can produce virtually any note to perform entire musical pieces. And this is no mere parlor trick either.

Mitsuhiro and his college friend and pianist Keisuke Usuda joined together to form “Piano and Hand Flute Duo Childhood” after Usuda was so impressed by his new friend’s unusual skill that he suggested they put it to use. Together, the pair have appeared on dozens of TV shows and even produced CDs as well as dazzling audiences in numerous countries around the world.

Childhood currently have a number of dates scheduled for performances in Japan. If you’re in the country and would like to see them live, check out their homepage.

I dunno if I'd call it "dazzling," exactly... impressive though!

I wonder how many people this morning have had their hands in front of their mouths trying to do this? I did but failed to produce any sound except that of a weak fart.

I can play the hand flute too. I've been doing it since I was a kid. And I can play just as good as him. =P Why aren't I on tv?

Yeahhhhhh, ohhhhh, waaaaaa.... This is so useful for the destiny of humanity that he should probably get a Nobel price for that. I am blown away...

Just kidding, I don't give a rat ass that this guy can blow in his hands. Could we get something intelligent now please?
