The 21st Japan Best Jewelry Wearer Awards Ceremony was held at Tokyo Big Sight recently, with the prime minister's wife, Miyuki Hatoyama, among the winners.
Sponsored by the Japan Jewelry Association, the awards go to celebrities who are "the most brilliant," "who look their best wearing jewelry" and "who want to wear jewelry in the future too."
Awards were given to women in various age groups. Hatoyama received the Special Prize this year. Other winners were Saki Fukuda, 19, in the teen category, Becky, 25, (20s category), Arisa Mizuki, 33 (30s category), Nene Otsuka, 41 (40s), Keiko Toda, 52 (50s) and Mariko Takahashi, 60 (seniors).© Japan Today
