"Talent" Mona Yamamoto, 34, on Monday said in a statement faxed to media that she had married the president of a real estate investment company one year her junior whom she had been dating for some time. The couple went to their local ward office to register their marriage, which is Yamamoto's second.
In the statement, Yamamoto -- who attended Monday night's Japan premiere for "The A Team" film, said that she would be cutting back her showbiz activities. "From now on, I'd like to support my husband so we can build a happy home together."
The date for an official wedding ceremony and reception has not yet been decided upon. Yamamoto, who denied being pregnant, said at the end of last year that she hopes to have three children.
The couple have no plans to hold a press conference, but fans can no doubt expect to hear more about her marriage plans during her regularly broadcast "Otake Makoto Golden Radio!" program (weekdays 10 p.m.).

I will indeed agree that women are their own worst enemy. The Mona type being the worst of it. A smart women would not want to get involved with someone in a relationship or a break up. Mona has a habit for going for the first time. She's not clever. Certainly the man needs to be held to account but in the case of Mona, she had made it a clear pattern - much like Angelina Jolie. I have zero respect for these type of women - and nor do most other women. There will always be the type who want what they can't have and try their best to have it. Why would anyone decent human find this attractive?

tmarie, Without knowing anything about the exact details, you pin most of the blame on Mona. Proof that a woman's worst enemy is another woman. What if she were seduced by these men? It wouldn't be the first time a man has lied to a woman for sex. "My wife and I are looking to separate," or "We don't have a real marriage," or the like. What's she supposed to do? Call and confirm? It's possible she was lied to- I mean at the very least we know for a fact that the men were lairs: they had to lie to their wives about the affair till caught. Who's to say they weren't lying to Mona too? I would hate to be the victim of someone's lies and then have everyone hate me because I was naive enough to believe them. I would just back off of the hatred. Without all the details, we don't know it could be all unjustified.

Why? I mean if she IS the evil witch you believe she is, why would marriage suddenly make it all better and be a deterrent? It certainly wasn't a deterrent for those married men she was with. Why would it be for her?

The claws come out because she gives decent women a bad rep. Again, gold digging ho. Not a comparison any woman wants. And yes, the men certainly is at fault but it wasn't just one married man she went after.

Wow, what an enormous drop in status! From TV announcer to "Talent." That places her in a small group of "talent" that actually have a college education, given that most "talent" are high school dropouts (no pun intended).
