From interactions I have witnessed, it seems a lot of French men tend to skip the "attraction" and "comfort building" phase of social intercourse with females and proceed straight to "seduction."

Whether Depardieu committed these sinister acts or is merely an unfortunate product of the seduce-first-ask-questions-later philosophy seemingly inherent in French masculine culture is the question here.

It sounds like these allegations were made because he criticised French government for extreme tax policy like 75% for high earners. Sometimes I wonder if so called mafia groups treat people more fair than governments. In many countries these days, tax is not different than scam, or theft. Forcing people to pay half or more of their income to government is far from fairness.

Never understood these guys. Why waste your time doing this stuff when there are literally lines of desperate women and teens stretched around the block who will do anything he wishes simply because he’s famous.

But seriously, what's the point to go to the police ? The victim and witnesses against the big boss are judged as much or more than the perp. The victim is asked by justice to bring more proof than they had for Nuremberg trial.

Onteniente that directed several movies with Depardieu says he had to intervene to make him stop harrassing the young women that were extras on the set. The extras are mostly ordinary people that come to help because that's cool. Decent artists know that and treat them really nicely. It's really lame to take advantage of your position to abuse them.
