Movie fans flock to 'Joker' steps in New York

I loved this iconic scene from the movie, and the music fits perfectly. As I understand it the controversy was that Gary Glitter would be receiving royalties from the movie. However, this is not the case.

There's a Game of Thrones tour in Ireland, used to be a Sopranos tour in New Jersey. In Sicily, most of the souvenir shops sell Godfather related tat. If people like to visit such places, why not?
