Not sure why the haters be hatin' I thought the movie was quite funny, hasn't lost its touch and for those that hate it, don't go and watch it.

When a sequel film is made, very rarely does it live up to the first film, I am not saying that they all don't, some do. But the third or fourth ? I would say that it's spent, it's had it's day

Eddie Murphy was and continues to be a king of comedy. TV, stage, movies…and he can slip back into character in this film as easily as slipped into the backseat of an unmarked police car in 1984.

Kudos, Eddie!

Not paying to see this at the cinema but it's okay for streaming. Sad when you feel this way about most big Hollywood productions nowadays.

The fifth installment is probably already being filmed. No thanks. One was pretty good. The second was fun but enough. Three was like beating a dead and dessicated horse. Now a fourth, way past its shelf life. What is going on? Then again we also find Kung Fu Panda Four in theaters. Anyone in Hollywood have a new idea? Seems not.

Watched it last night. No, it was not the blockbuster you are hoping for. Was it bad? Absolutely not.

It was NOT made for today's standards. It wasn't about "THE MESSAGE". There were no gender swaps or forced inclusion of the alphabet community. It was just good clean fun. It was made for fans of the original.

We even got Kevin Bacon! Kevin Bacon!!!! Yes, it's a no-brainer. I'm watching it.

it has Murphy blowing stuff up and joking about it — all we need, really.

Speak for yourself.

Let's hope we don't have to wait another 30 years for our next Axel Foley fix. God, we've missed him.

Was this piece written by the studio?

Is the new movie any good? Who cares?

The article does not make me want to see the movie, even on Netflix. It reads as if someone was given the task of writing something positive about a terrible movie without any possible good point to focus on.

No it's not. It just shows Hollywood has ZERO orginality any more.

The lack of ideas and originality in Hollyweed is increasing...
