Swift sings about a tortured poet, but she is one, too. And isn't it great that she's allowed herself the creative license?

Tone it down it a bit. We get the message.

Then again, the people who like ‘real’ music from when music was better will no doubt savage it.

Maybe balance helps.

Anyway, I’m sure it will sell by the shed load.

A 30-something's break-up experience in detail. Give me a break! Is this where we are at?

I am sure her current boyfriend enjoys hearing this emotional melodrama all night long.

You don't get tortured poetry from billionaires.

I couldn't stop laughing, that was a good one. Lol

Not sure why she always seems so angry at men.

She's a poet? I missed the memo on that one. Her lyrics are as poetic as are letters to the editor.

I'd be tortured by the missing apostrophe

Perhaps it's a department consisting of many tortured poets, rather than belonging to one or more.

"The Department of Tortured Poets."

Billionaires need love too.
