Singer Namie Amuro, 34, is gearing up to celebrate the 20th anniversary of her entry into the world of pop music this September with the release of her as-yet-untitled commemorative album.
The album will include four new songs, including "Go Round/YEAH-OH" and "Love Story," recently featured on the Fuji TV drama "The Reason I Can't Find Love." The album will include 13 tracks in total and will be sold as a single CD and as a CD/DVD set.
The DVD is set to include 11 music videos and will be previewed on satellite station WOWOW from June 2. One of the songs, "Only You," has been named as the official theme song of the soccer 2012 European Championship. Amuro will reportedly perform the song at her commemoration concert.
The concert is to take place on Sept 16 on her home soil in Okinawa, on the anniversary of her debut. She is expected to play to around 27,000 people, making it her biggest show to date.

She was one of the better personalities and trend-setters from the 90s here.

Nice one @The Munya Times I totally agree, she is what's right with Japanese pop music today

She looks what she is, 34 but it is remarkable she can still sell herself on the Japanese market at her age. Not a bad news anyway, people might start appreciating others beyond schoolgirls in school uniform and childish things.
Good. Good the way its.
