The streaming & the damage done!

...no unity among artists in the venue. A simple 'no you can't play that' would level the playing field quickly. VIVA NAPSTER!!!... when publishers publicly token prosecuted illegal downloading individuals. THAT mushroomed to this. If the industry flowing with cash resources couldn't stop the wave, what chance has the artist alone. Without a 'solidarity strike' by the artists... nothing will change. From here... it looks like every man for himself... cash trumps ethic.

I guarantee you at his age, Young can't tell the difference between his Pono and MP3 (high bit rate)--It's a biological fact.

The guy's own music player is abomidable, and just a MUCH higher cost for what has been deemed by professionals as identical to MP3 players in terms of sound quality. If he's bashing the latter, he's hating his own. As for HOW the music is distributed, I can respect musicians that are against streaming, but there's not going to be a return to the good old days of going to the record or CD shop to buy a complete album when you only want one song.

@Joeintokyo... I doubt he even cares. Why should anyone?... its useless information. He's smart enough to know that, which puts him ahead of those strapped by such things.

Somewhere on a desert highway... she rides and Harley D... but she won't be streaming any more...
