It sounded weird to me when I heard about it. Just like those AVs everyone usually criticises where the girl starts off crying "Yamete..." but at the end is apparently enjoying it. Don't see much difference. Us Westerners are just better at hiding and intellectualizing our perversions.

Duffy’s rape ordeal story sounds like a complete fabrication. So much of what she says happened to her just doesn’t add up.

If her story was false there would be several illogical discrepancies and story changes. 99.99% of rape stories and allegations are real. And if this movie plot truly is what they say it is then it's just a sick disgusting glorification of evil sadistic actions.

How about 50 shades of Gray? Rape being glorified?

That's a bunch of sadistic trash. Not entertainment, it glorifies sadism and cruelty.

Someone should explain to Duffy and the 6,000+ sheeple who signed her petition the difference between fantasy and reality,

Given that she appears to have been the victim of an awful sexual crime, I doubt she needs some guy like you patronisingly telling her this.

Don't glorify sexual violence against women. Pull it down, Netflix. Shame !

It is a movie so fiction.

I understand it hurt the woman Duffy.

But a sane person doesn't watch a movie to hurt him/herself.

It sounds extraordinary, but what we have learned over the past decade is that many were able to get away with terrible crimes - the victims' were not believed.

There are some porn films that feature 'captured woman (or man) and they got no choice but to fall in love with the captor' claptrap. That's just a sick warped fantasy and it's just a sadistic fantasy.

Unfortunately there are survivors like Duffy who went through the real ordeal and there's nothing funny about any of it. Junk like this only gives the viewer that it's alright. A lot of people are too dumb and immature to realize that stuff like this is not to be glamorized.

Events like this are traumatic and can hurt a person for life. If Netflix has any scruples at all they won't show this trash. Maybe if several people drop their Netflix suscriptions these oafs will get the message.

Oh. Yeah, and what's next? A movie about world war 2 will be accused of glorifying Nazism?

How about 50 shades of Gray? Rape being glorified?
