With very little new content in the past few months, and the Obamas being brought in to direct programming, I've personally decided to stop using Netflix.

The new production centre is a boost for New York but will it be enough to stop their decline once Disney starts in November?

With very little new content in the past few months, and the Obamas being brought in to direct programming, I've personally decided to stop using Netflix.

They aren't directing programming, though. That assumes there will be overall control of the service. They will be producing some new shows. Big difference.

Up to $100 million will be invested for an expanded office in Manhattan and six sound stages in Brooklyn.

The new corporate offices will include some 9,000 square meters (100,000 square feet) in Manhattan's Flatiron District and will lead to 127 new executive jobs, up from the 32 currently employed by Netflix in the city.

Not so fast Netflix. Wait until Cortez hears about this.
